<p>日本時間2月3日にロサンゼルスで開催された第67回グラミー賞。Beyoncé（ビヨンセ）が2024年にリリースしたカントリーアルバム『COWBOY CARTER』で悲願とも言える最優秀アルバム賞を受賞した。</p>

<h3>Beyoncéにとって5度目の正直に</h3>
<p>Beyoncéの最優秀アルバム賞の受賞は、本人だけでなく同業者にとっても嬉しいニュースとなっただろう。これまでに4枚のアルバムで同賞にノミネートされていたが、いずれも受賞には至らなかった。</p>
<p>グラミー賞における歴代最多受賞アーティストであるにも関わらず最優秀アルバム賞を獲得できていなかったことについては、昨年夫のJay-Z（ジェイ・ Z）も「おかしな話だ」とグラミー賞の誠実性を求める発言をしていた。</p>

<p>最優秀アルバム賞の受賞スピーチではまず初めに「私たちを守ってくれている消防士の皆さんに感謝したい」とロサンゼルスの山火事で奮闘している人々に敬意を表したBeyoncé。</p>
<p>続けて初の黒人女性ソロ・カントリーシンガーLinda Martell（リンダ・マーテル）の名前を挙げ「この賞を彼女に捧げたい」とコメントを残した。自分の喜びを心に秘め、周りへの感謝を前面に出したなんともBeyoncéらしいスピーチだっただろう。</p>
<p>また、黒人アーティストとして初となる最優秀カントリー・アルバム賞、Miley Cyrus（マイリー・サイラス）との「II Most Wanted」で最優秀カントリーデュオ／グループパフォーマンス賞も受賞し、グラミー賞における受賞記録は35部門となった。</p>

<p>日本時間2月10日にはスーパーボウル・ハーフタイムショウ出演も控えているKendrick Lamarは、年間最優秀レコード賞、年間最優秀楽曲賞と主要2部門のほか、最優秀ラップ楽曲賞、最優秀ラップ・パフォーマンス賞、最優秀ミュージック・ビデオ賞と全部で5部門で受賞し、その全てがDrakeをディスした「Not Like Us」と異例の展開に。</p>

<p>しかし11月にリリースしたニューアルバム『GNX』には「Not Like Us」が収録されておらず、その理由について元レーベルのボスは「あの曲はバトルのためのもので、セールスのためじゃない。彼なりの誠実さの表れだ」と話している。</p>
<p>ハーフタイムショウに関してはゲストとしてSZA（シザ）の出演、さらにTyler, The Creator（タイラー・ザ・クリエイター）、所属するスーパーグループBlack Hippy（ブラック・ヒッピー）の噂まである。今年のグラミー賞で最多受賞という、これ以上ない勢いのまま素晴らしいショーを見せてくれるだろう。</p>

<h3>Doechiiが女性として3人目となる最優秀ラップ・アルバム賞を受賞</h3>
<p>ミックステープ『Alligator Bites Never Heal』の高い評価、Tyler, The Creatorのアルバムへの参加などで瞬く間にトップアーティストの仲間入りを果たしたDoechii（ドーチー）。1999年のLauryn Hill（ローリン・ヒル）、2019年のCardi B（カーディ・B）に続いて女性として史上3人目となる最優秀ラップ・アルバム賞を受賞したことも、今年のグラミー賞で注目すべき点だ。</p>

<p>スピーチで次なる世代に向けて「私たち黒人女性はなんだってできるの」とメッセージを送ったDoechiiは、最優秀新人賞、「Nissan Altima」が最優秀ラップ・パフォーマンスにもノミネート。さらにステージではパワフルなパフォーマンスも披露した。</p>
