<h3>9曲の未発表曲を追加収録</h3>
<p>Daft Punkにとって最後のアルバムとなった『Random Access Memories』は、2014年のグラミー賞で5部門を受賞したDaft Punkの代表作アルバムのひとつ。3枚組アナログレコード、2枚組CD、ダウンロード、ストリーミングでリリースされる10周年記念盤はオリジナル盤に収録されていた13曲のほか、9曲の未発表曲を追加収録。未発表曲の中には2021年2月22日にDaft Punkの解散報告動画「Epilogue」で使用されていた「Touch (2021 Epilogue)」が含まれている。</p>

<p>Daft PunkのメンバーだったThomas Bangalterは先月、Daft Punk解散後初となるソロアルバム『Mythologies』を今年4月にリリースすることを発表している。またDaft Punkは昨年、1997年にリリースしたデビューアルバム『Homework』のリリース10周年記念盤をリリースした。</p>
<p>『Random Access Memories』には、Daft Punkの代表曲のひとつ「Get Lucky」が収録されており、ファンの間でも人気が高いアルバムになっている。Daft Punk好きは貴重な未発表曲を含む10周年記念盤をぜひともゲットしてほしい。</p>

Daft Punk解散後、初めてリリースするソロアルバム『Mythologies』より2曲目の先行曲が公開。

<p>解散したDaft Punkのメンバーとして知られるThomas Bangalterが最新曲「Le Minotaure」をリリースした。</p>
<h3>ソロアルバム『Mythologies』からの2曲目となる先行曲</h3>
<p>「Le Minotaure」は、Thomas Bangalterが2021年にDaft Punk解散後、初めてリリースするソロアルバム『Mythologies』からの2曲目となる先行曲。アルバムでは第13楽章として収録される。Thomas Bangalterはアルバムのリード・トラックとなる「L'Accouchement」を今年1月に公開している。</p>

<h3>バロック音楽とアメリカのミニマリズムに影響を受けた『Mythologies』</h3>
<p>『Mythologies』は、2022年7月にボルドー国立歌劇場で上映されていたフランスのボルドー国立オペラ座バレエ団とバレエ・プレルジョカージュという2つのバレエ団がプロデュースしたバレエ作品。“集合的な想像力を形成する現代の儀式や創世記の神話の探求”がテーマになっており、Thomas Bangalterは同作の演出を手掛けたバレエ・プレルジョカージュの創始者であるAngelin Preljocajの依頼によって2019年秋から音楽制作を開始したという。</p>
<p>また『Mythologies』はバロック音楽とアメリカのミニマリズムに影響を受けた作風になっており、電子的な制作機材は使われていないとのこと。ライブ演奏と同様、Romain Dumasが率いるボルドー・アキテーヌ国立管弦楽団が演奏を担当している。90分のアルバムは23曲で構成されており、4月7日にWarner Classicsから発売される。</p>
<p>なお、Thomas BangalterがメンバーだったDaft Punkは今年5月にDaft Punkの最後のアルバムとなった4thアルバム『Random Access Memories』10周年記念盤をリリースすることを発表。同作には9曲の未発表曲が追加収録される。</p>

<p>「The Writing of Fragments of Time」は、Todd Edwardsとコラボした『Random Access Memories』収録曲「Fragments of Time」の製作過程を描く約8分間のオーディオドキュメンタリー風の楽曲となっている。同曲ではTodd EdwardsとDaft PunkのThomas Bangalterが「Fragments of Time」について、メロディーや歌詞、曲の意味を議論する音声が含まれている。</p>

<h2>Todd EdwardsはDaft Punkにとって心の師匠</h2>
<p>Daft Punkとハウス/ガラージシーンのアイコンとして知られるTodd Edwardsは、2001年アルバム『Discovery』収録曲 「Face to Face」でコラボした経験があるほか、先述のGiorgio Moroderらダンスミュージックのレジェンドたちととともに1997年のデビューアルバム収録曲「Teachers」でもその名前が挙がる、Daft Punkにとって&quot;心の師匠&quot;にあたる存在としても知られている。</p>
